September 30th, 2010, marked my first full year with Guy and Eva, and it sure went by fast! I have been reflecting on all the things I have been through this past year and all the amazing things I have accomplished.
My Life with Guy and Eva When I found Guy and Eva, I guess I really didn’t have an idea what exactly it was that I was getting myself into. I found Guy and Eva on the internet, loved the jewelry, got a call from Daniel (our CEO) and asked him a million questions (after I realized he wasn’t a telemarketer…) and he told me how new the company was. They had just launched on August 19, 2010, so they were REALLY new. I saw this as a wonderful opportunity to bring this business to the market in my hometown because Guy and Eva was still pretty much unheard of and I just knew that this company was what I had been looking for. I am a person that relies a lot on my “gut” instinct and every feeling that I was having was telling me DO THIS, and the fact that I was talking to the CEO, the Ground Floor Opportunity, and the jewelry, well, how in the world could I pass this up? I had to at least give it a try. So, I became a Guy and Eva Advisor on September 30, 2009. I was the second one in the entire state of NY and it has been such a wonderful journey so far.
My customers are loving the jewelry and the Company itself is outstanding. I have seen incredible growth within us, both in Advisor volume and in Personal growth. When I started this business, I would never randomly go up to people and strike up a conversation and about jewelry nonetheless. I always talk to people at work at my regular job as a hairstylist, it’s my job to listen and have conversations with people, but not so much to strangers that I see out and about. Now, if you asked me to go invite “That lady over there” to a jewelry party, or go give her compliment, or my business card, I would say, “ok, and I’ll invite her friend too!” I still have to gather up my courage to do it, but the point is, I will.
Our Guy and Eva Family I have learned a lot about myself this past year, and what I am capable of. I know that if I put my mind to something, I will accomplish it. I have goals for myself, and for my family, and I know with Guy and Eva, I will achieve them. I have an incredible Team of people that I work with. Our Corporate Office Team, I just can’t say enough about how wonderful everyone is there. If you ask any of my friends here at home who Daniel, Mat and James are, they’ll probably say, “Oh those are those guys with Guy and Eva Christie talks about all the time.” Everyone at corporate is spectacular and their customer service and attention to detail is second to none. Our Team of AMAZING Advisors – well, you ladies just knock my socks off. You are all such an inspiration to me and I am so happy to work with you all and call you my friends. xoxo
I have earned some phenomenal rewards this past year: friendship being number one, cash prizes, Free jewelry – I was able to earn enough free jewelry credit in the spring to have the entire catalog for myself, and then again this fall, I was able to earn about 80% of the jewelry in that catalog for free. The jewelry is absolutely gorgeous. My growing team of ladies are fabulous! They make me smile every day.
Napa Valley I was also able to earn a trip for two to San Francisco and Napa Valley California in August! My husband and I went and had the most wonderful time checking out the sites, and experiencing the culture there in San Francisco, driving in a handsome 2011 Mustang Convertible, (Craig really loved that!) and seeing the beautiful Napa Valley – you HAVE to go there sometime! We met up with Daniel for dinner at the Ad Hoc Restaurant – The Chef there is Thomas Keller, a multiple award winner, restaurateur, and cookbook writer. He also owns the landmark restaurant The French Laundry, in Napa Valley which wins every year in Restaurant Magazine on their list of Top 50 Restaurants of the World. We had a fabulous meal and hung out and shared stories. We also met up with some new friends, went on an AMAZING Winery Tour of some local wineries, learned a lot about the different vineyards, and the process of making wine, had a picnic lunch, and saw some breathtaking scenery, and Oh the vineyards! Just beautiful! And our Hotel – The Avia – very stunning! If you want to win a girl over, take her there! All this was thanks to Guy and Eva. I was so excited and extremely blessed to have had the chance to win this trip and the opportunity to go. Rest assured, the next trip they offer, you will want to be there! I know I will!
Customer Appreciation Event Then, just a few weeks ago, our local Advisors and I had the honor of having Daniel make a trip here, to our home town where we held a Customer Appreciation Event for our friends, family and guests. Everyone had the chance to see the entire Fall/Winter line of jewelry on display, meet personally with the CEO of Guy and Eva, hear a little more about how our company got started and receive some special discounts and prizes just for coming. This was the first event if it’s kind for all of us in the entire company, so it was very exciting to have it happen. We ended up having a great attendance, about 95 people, so we were quite impressed with that! I had told Daniel that we could probably get about 100 people to come, so, I think we were pretty close. Next time, it will be even bigger! And to think, this all happened within the last year.
If you would have asked me last year where I would be today, I don’t think I would have predicted any of the things I have accomplished or all the amazing people I have encountered. I can only imagine what this next year will bring for us all here at Guy and Eva, and I’m really excited to see where this road will take us all. I thank everyone here with us for making this past year truly a blessing for me, and THANK YOU so much for coming into my life. Guy and Eva ROCKS!!
